There are several factors that will hinder that.
1. In some places in Europe and the rest of the world, the download speeds are not fast enough to be downloading Gigabytes of movies especially when ISP's put a certain cap on your Internet usage.
2. Legal issues in terms of when movies/shows are released. Some broadcasters in other countries have exclusive rights to these shows.
Portal will suck.
Deepbrown, and Smokey, I dont appreciate the immature sarcasm so cut down on the foolishness.
I think there was a game called Samurai Warriors on the 360, and just from watching it it seemed like combos after combo's to try and get through a whole army of enemies.
With FPS, there is an objective, there is an immediate threat (you get hit once or twice, game over) so its evade, cover and kill - move on. But I know nothing about this game and from looking at screen...
Gorgeous. But don't games like this become repetitive as its just button bashing? No? I'm not sure..
But I'd defiantely buy it if it wasn't.
I'm sorry but what am i supposed to be impressed by? A car with lighting and shadows?
Make it £329 or less and it'll sell well.
The British are arrogant and tight with money - im one of them :D
It's one person's opinion against another.
How old was the person who made that video? Did he just use Windows Movie Maker to get those effects? Lol, you see my point hopefully.
It's all ONE person's opinion against another.
I think with the increasing Internet Speeds and distribution of illegal movies, I think the cinema's need to offer people a bit more honestly.
Otherwise in a few years, people will be able to download HD movies very quickly.
Personally, I cant remember the last time i went to the cinema.
*wink* *wink*
My point is not the fact the sales dropped. It is by the margin they have dropped by.
And the gentlemen with the avatar of large breasts - the difference is that no intelligent person can really compare the two systems in terms of launch. They were extreme shortages, personally it took me 3 months of intensive searching to get my 360.
But if the sales of the system dropped by 82% after only a week where supply was being taunted as HIGH, and everyone hyping the sy...
Not sure but from this website, it says it sold around 350,000 in the first week (North America).

Whilst people are trying to defend the PlayStation 3 from the upcoming onslaught of 360 fanboys, I think they've ignored that a sale plummet of 82% is a negative and I doubt anyone expected the sales to drop that drastically considering the launch was just a week ago.
I agree with Bladestar in general. One of the reasons why I didn't get a PS3 at launch was because I didn't feel any of the games really justified the price to me personally.
No system sellers in sh...
Microsoft didn't even comment on that, which was actally said by an MS employee "making a personal wishlist", who seemed like a fanboy.
So please get your facts straight, I dont want to see people embarrassing themselves.
Excellent interview.
It pretty much sums up that you'll need a HDTV to take advantage of the PS3, more so than the 360.
So save up kids! I've saved up £20 already since yesterday, woo hoo lol
All I hope is that we finally see a PS3 title that actually USES it's superior technology because, I don't know about you, but I'm getting sick and tired of all the articles on the consoles specificatios and it's processing power - yet we get games that sometimes look worst and perform worst than their copies on the 360.
We need something very impressive, something the PS3 can only do. So I hope it' MGS4.
But last time i checked it wasn't in the stores yet.
I want a PS3 but even I am not silly enough to pay £500 for either Resistance or Motorstorm. Because we gamers are actually paying that amount to play those games which I don't think cut it enough for me to spend that amount.
I am not a fanboy, and I am certainly not trying to take the limelight away from the PS3 - but I honestly believe this article is proof that Sony are running on their brand name right now as their software is rather short IMO.
Now, if t...
More approvals please?
I dont know which version to get. The PS3 version or the 360 version.
I feel the 360 version will have a more richer online resource and stable multiplayer..but I feel the PS3 version with its blu-ray discs will somehow offer a better gaming experience offline.
Hmmm
Some of the screens, like the one of the Empire State, look last-gen but I suppose you'll have to lose some textures in some areas in order to make up for areas where you'll actually notice it (and not at the top of a sky scrapper).
6/10 for me based on the video.
Konami need to start giving the visuals a bit of work cos it looks dire in comparison to FIFA.
